3D game engine in your browser
Make a 3D game. Send your friends the link.
Airogel is a real 3D game engine that runs in a browser tab. Build your game, publish it in one click, and your friends join from a link. Nothing to install and no servers to set up.
Ballistic Lab, made in Airogel. About this demo
Play before you sign up
Each of these was built in the editor and published to a link. Click one and it runs.
Ballistic Lab
A first-person shooting range. Sprint, crouch and put rounds on target, alone or with up to three friends.
CityScape
Walk a neon boulevard in the year 2186. A city block of more than 3,000 objects to explore with up to seven friends.
Dodge ball
Team dodge ball for two to eight players. Coral against Cyan in 90-second rounds.
Tank Duelz
Two-on-two tank battles across a meadow, Bluebell against Foxglove, with AI tanks in any empty seat.
Everything a game needs, in one tab
Friends join from a link
Turn on multiplayer and your game gets rooms. Share the invite link and everyone plays in the same world. The game runs on our servers, so nobody has to host.
Publish in one click
Your game gets its own web address. Anyone can play it in a browser, and players can install it like an app. Update it whenever you like; the link stays the same.
Physics that feels right
Cars, tanks, ragdolls, soft bodies and characters all move with real physics, with nothing to set up.
Script it in Lua
Give any object behaviour with a short Lua script: input, collisions, animation, cameras and on-screen UI.
An AI assistant that builds with you
Describe what you want and it adds objects, materials and scripts to your scene. Everything it makes is yours to edit. Prefer your own AI? Connect Claude or another tool and it can build too.
FAQ
Questions before you start
Not answered here? Email support@airogeledit.org.
- Is it really free?
- Yes. The Free plan has the full editor, one published game and multiplayer rooms for up to 4 players. No card needed.
- Do my friends need an account?
- Not for a single-player game: they open the link and play. To join a multiplayer room they sign in, which is free.
- Do I need to know how to code?
- Not to start. The AI assistant builds objects and writes scripts from a description. When you want more control, every script is Lua you can open and change.
- What kinds of games can I make?
- 3D games with real physics: shooters, racers, tank battles, dodge ball, worlds to explore. Every demo on this page was made in Airogel.
- What do I need to run it?
- A recent browser on a laptop or desktop. There is nothing to install. Published games can be played on phones too, with touch controls.
- How does the AI allowance work?
- Every plan includes AI for the built-in assistant: some each day on Free, a monthly amount on Creator and Studio. After that it draws on your credit balance. Connecting your own AI tool does not use your allowance.
